One of social media's favorite EL professionals and virtual instruction innovators, Esther Park, provided a session packed with ideas for engaging ELs in a virtual learning Environment. Esther modeled activities and strategies that can be replicated within local professional development sessions. The ideas presented can be easily tailored to support EL's authentic digital interactions across grade levels and content areas. Division, school, and professional development leaders will leave the session with ideas for tools and templates to add to their virtual instructional leadership toolbox as they prepare turn around training for their teachers. Updates were provided by both the USED Office of English Language Acquisition (OELA) and the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE).
